New England Wound Care, or NEWCare, is a specialized wound care clinic with offices in Turners Falls, Easthampton, Westfield and Athol Massachusetts. Our providers see patients at our wound clinics, as well as at several local Nursing Homes. Our highly skilled team provide comprehensive wound care to patients requiring assistance with acute and/or chronic wounds.
At NEWCare, we treat a variety of wounds, including but not limited to, surgical wounds, diabetic, pressure, venous, arterial ulcers, Burns (stage 1 and 2 only) and traumatic wounds. We also provide care to Ostomy patients who are experiencing issues related to their device. Our specialized wound care team has over 20 years of experience in providing comprehensive wound care to the community. We work closely with the various visiting nurse providers in the area to coordinate patient care and also provide support to the visiting nurses in the field.
At NEWCare, we strive to resolve our patient’s wounds by utilizing up-to-date interventions such as Biologics, Negative pressure wound therapy, Total Contact Casts, and variety of other products. Our goal is to optimize the patient’s quality of like by facilitating the wound healing process.
